This part set of eleven golden-coloured blown glass Christmas tree ornaments were made in Czechoslovakia in the 1980s. All have their metal caps, but some appear to be stamped 'Poland'. There is one bauble missing from this set.
They would make a great addition to a retro styled Christmas tree and there are enough to add some simple volume to your festive decorations. As usual with baubles of this vintage, there is some foxing to the silvered glass finish.
The original card and plastic box with oval cellophane window features printed red and gold motifs, and is printed with 'Christbaumschmuck', suggesting the ornaments were made for the German market or for export. It also states 'Made in Czechoslovakia'.
